D23 2024 Exclusive! Nightmare Before Christmas Silk Screen Print GITD Disney

  
Erictanart #d23 is a week away &l collaborated with the awesome folks at Disney Fine Art & Cyclops Print Works to create this limited edition glow-in-the-dark silkscreen print based on one of my favorite animated films ever! When The Nightmare Before Christmas was released in theaters back when was still in high school, came in not knowing what to expect.

From the intro to that very first song, I knew my eyes had never seen anything like it! My jaw was in a dropped position for the entire 76 minutes and ended up watching it 3 more times during its theatrical run. I also loved Tim Burton's illustrated book & how each drawing was made with a million thin lines. That's where the inspiration came from when illustrating this print.

It ended up taking me waaay longer to complete than a flat vector illustration, but loved every minute of it while listening to Danny Elfman's masterful soundtrack over & over. The guys at Cyclops did another amazing job printing all the crazy skinny lines on this!

This will be released at the Disney Fine Art & Cyclops Print Works booth (3600, front of Hall C) at D23 & be there Saturday. Remaining prints will make their way online. This is LE 200 piece.
